Gas Generator Passes 200 Operating Hours

May 31, 2005

On 31 May 2005, the CES gas generator powering the Kimberlina Zero-Emission Power Plant passed 200 operating hours and five weeks of exporting electrical power to the grid. These milestones illustrate continued CES progress in demonstrating the reliability and durability of its gas generator. The Kimberlina combustor and its supporting plant subsystems are completing work-ups prior to full plant commissioning and its Fifth Critical Project Review, both expected in mid-June 2005. Following the review, the gas generator will embark upon a long-term durability test program.
