Ronald E. Simms

Vice President, Engineering and Manufacturing

Mr. Simms has over 35 years of engineering and construction experience in the power generation field. He recently served as Vice President of Construction for Calpine Corporation and was one of the principal senior managers responsible for organizing, staffing, and executing Calpine’s aggressive multi-billion dollar construction program. This highly successful program commissioned 25,000 MW_e of state-of-the-art power plants throughout the US and Canada within a six-year period.

Mr. Simms was also a vice president for Walsh Construction Company and during his career, as a construction manager, worked on a wide range of power generation projects, including hydro, nuclear, solar, wind, biomass, coal, and geothermal technologies.
