Keith L. Pronske

President and CEO

Mr. Pronske has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2001. He has also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Clean Energy Systems, Inc. since January 2003. Mr. Pronske joined CES in January 2001 as Vice President for Business Development. He is a mechanical engineer with more than thirty years experience in the power industry in North and South America and in Europe.

Prior to his work at CES, Mr. Pronske served as the Vice President of Business Development, Latin America, for Tractebel, Brussels, Belgium. At Tractebel, he was instrumental in acquiring and developing power plants, gas distribution systems, and energy companies with an aggregate equity investment in excess of $2 billion and an installed capacity in excess of 6,000 MW. Prior to working for Tractebel, Mr. Pronske worked for the AES Corporation.

Mr. Pronske holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Business Administration degree from San Francisco State.











Leonard R. Devanna

Executive Vice President

Mr. Devanna is the Executive Vice President of Clean Energy Systems. He has over 25 years of experience in various energy related companies. Prior to joining Clean Energy Systems, Mr. Devanna's previous positions included President and COO of Advanced Energy Systems; Senior Vice President of Commonwealth Energy Systems; Vice President of Energy Supply for Commonwealth Gas Co; and president or vice president of six other energy related companies.

Mr. Devanna has served on the Board of Directors of over ten energy companies. His leadership positions have been across various energy sectors including utility operations, combined heat and power (CHP), energy portfolio management, liquefied natural gas (LNG), energy storage, renewable energy and oxy fuel combustion.

Mr. Devanna is a licensed Professional Engineer, holds an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, a Masters in Engineering from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts.










Ron E Simms

Vice President, Manufacturing and Engineering

Mr. Simms has served as the Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing at Clean Energy Systems since 2005. He oversees the implementation of CES components and facilities and the technical commercialization of CES products. He has over 35 years of engineering and construction experience in the power generation industry.

Prior to his work at CES, Mr. Simms served as the Vice President of Construction for Calpine Corporation and was one of the principal senior managers responsible for organizing, staffing, and executing Calpine's aggressive multi-billion dollar construction program. This highly successful program commissioned 25,000 MWe of state-of-the-art power plants throughout the U.S. and Canada within a six-year period. Mr. Simms was also a Vice President for the Walsh Construction Company. During his career as a construction manager, he worked on a wide range of power generation projects including hydro, nuclear, solar, wind, biomass, coal, and geothermal technologies.

Mr. Simms holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.










Christopher Peters

Vice President, Business Development

Mr. Peters has served as the Vice President of Business Development at Clean Energy Systems since April of 2011. He oversees all market and client development, business strategy, and marketing for the deployment of CES technologies.

Prior to his work at CES, Mr. Peters served as the President of Houston-based Choren U.S.A., the U.S. project development subsidiary of a German gasification technologies company. At Choren, Mr. Peters started in the business development of biomass and coal gasification projects in the Americas before becoming the co-founder and Vice President of the U.S. subsidiary. Prior to that, Mr. Peters worked in the engineering department of BMW in Munich.

Mr. Peters holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from IESE Business School in Barcelona.










Roger Anderson

Board Member – CES Fellow for Science

Mr. Anderson has served as a member of the Board of Directors since August of 1996. He also serves as the Fellow for Science at Clean Energy Systems, Inc., and is a co-founder of CES. He has served as a Principle Investigator on all of CES's early oxy-fueled gas generator development programs. He continues to provide scientific assessments and guidance to CES management. In his current position he oversees the process engineering activities at CES and leads new concept developments involving CES technologies for alternative fuels' combustion and product diversification.

Prior to the founding of CES, Mr. Anderson spent 39 years working for Aerojet, researching liquid rocket propellants and working on the development and testing of fluidized-bed driers and incinerators for low-level radioactive wastes. He has cumulative experience of more than fifty years in high pressure, high temperature combustion.

Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Idaho. He holds numerous U.S. and foreign patents, and has authored several dozen technical papers, studies, and reports for government and industry.











Brad Anderson

Chief Engineer

Mr. Anderson has served as the Chief Engineer at Clean Energy Systems since July of 2011. He oversees all combustion technology engineering and design efforts in development of new technologies, as well as the redesign of older technologies as materials, needs, and capabilities change with time.

Prior to his work at CES, Mr. Anderson served as a lead engineer at Aerojet for 30 years. He has technical expertise in platelet designs as well as liquid rocket engine components including injectors, igniters, chambers, gas generators, nozzles (regeneratively cooled, radiation cooled and ablative type), support structures, gimbals, and feed systems. Prior to his work for Aerojet, Mr. Anderson was employed at Lockheed Missiles and Space Co. where he worked as a packaging and handling engineer.

Mr. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from LeTourneau University, Longview Texas. He also holds multiple U. S. Patents and has published technical studies and reports for government and industry.










Cynthia Welch

Director of Administration, Corporate Secretary

Ms. Welch serves as the Director of Administration and Corporate Secretary at Clean Energy Systems, having been with the company for over a decade. She is responsible for all aspects of administration, including human resources, facilities, vendor contracting, compliance, and supporting operations. She is a recognized expert in project management and business administration. With her service, she brings experience in purchasing, facilities, project management, quality customer service, and disaster recovery training to CES.
