| Nicholas W. Allard |
Partner—Patton Boggs.
Prior to joining Patton Boggs Mr. Allard chaired
the government relations group at Latham &
Watkins LLP. He served as Administrative Assistant
and Chief of Staff to Senator Patrick Moynihan
from 1986 to 1987; from 1984 to 1986 he was Minority
Staff Counsel to the Senate Committee on the Judiciary,
where he served as legal counsel to Senator Edward
Kennedy. Mr. Allard is a prolific author on telecommunications,
health and legislative issues. Mr. Allard also
teaches at both George Mason University Law School
and the Georgetown University McDonough School
of Business. As a Rhodes Scholar he is the secretary
of the Maryland/DC selection committee for Rhodes
Scholarships. Mr. Allard is a graduate of Princeton
and Oxford Universities. |

Mr. McMillen served three
consecutive terms in the U.S. House of Representatives
from the state of Maryland, including membership
on the Energy and Commerce Committee. He also
served as a co-chair of President Clinton’s
Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. Prior
to his political career, Mr. McMillen played in
the NBA for 11 years (1975 – 1986.) Before
his professional basketball career, Mr. McMillen,
a Rhodes Scholar, was a National Collegiate Athletic
Association “All American” at the
University of Maryland and a member of the 1972
U. S. Olympic basketball team. Mr. McMillen is
currently Chairman of the Washington Capital Advisors,
LLC and the Chairman of Global Defense Corporation. |
